Our Next Chapter: FWD Motion Moves to Sheffield City Centre
We’ve got some big news to share! Earlier this year, FWD Motion officially moved from Renishaw into the heart of Sheffield city centre.
After 20 years based on the South Yorkshire border, we’ve made the move to be right in the middle of the region's business hub. Being centrally located means we’re now closer to many of our clients and have more opportunities to connect with the local business community. It’s a change of address, but it’s also a step forward in how we support the people we work with.
Rooted in South Yorkshire
Our Managing Director, Mike Priestley, is a South Yorkshire man through and through. He started FWD Motion in 2005 and brings over 30 years of industry experience to the team. For Mike, this relocation is as much about community as it is about business.

“South Yorkshire is where my roots are, and Sheffield has always been the functional heart of our region’s economy,” Mike said. “Moving into the city centre places us exactly where many of our clients and connections operate. We want to be part of the city’s daily energy, contributing to the local economy while making it easier to collaborate face-to-face with the people we support.”
This move also helps us stay active with the local organisations we care about. We’re proud to continue our sponsorships of the Rotherham Titans and the Sheffield Eagles, and we remain dedicated to supporting the vital care provided by St Luke’s – Sheffield’s Hospice and Rotherham Hospice.
Aligning Our Space with Our Creativity
Our goal is always to make your brand bigger, better, and more successful. We do this with a straightforward approach to marketing that prioritises actionable roadmaps and a clear return on investment for our clients.
Our new central office supports this by providing a more accessible, collaborative environment for our team to manage integrated campaigns and deliver high-performing websites. Heather Hearne-Poole, our Digital Marketing Lead, explains why this matters for the brands we work with:

“Being based in the city centre aligns our physical presence with our creative output. Sheffield is a hub for innovation, and being in the thick of it helps us stay connected to the evolving needs of the brands we represent. This move improves our accessibility, enabling us to build stronger relationships with our partners and creating a collaborative environment for our team to develop effective marketing strategies.”
Marketing That Delivers Measurable Growth
Since 2005, FWD Motion has helped businesses find their voice and fuel their growth through expert web development, design, SEO and digital marketing. At our core, we believe great marketing shouldn’t be complicated. We take complex concepts and transform them into:
