The brief

Creative Design, Large Format Print & Installation

Edwin James Group is a market-leader in facilities engineering and technical services with 14 offices and service centres located across the UK. FWD was tasked with branding the group’s EJ Academy in Glasgow and their Swadlincote office in South Derbyshire.

FWD worked closely with the client throughout the project to ensure the branding aligned with Edwin James’ core values, philosophy, and vision. We then produced the design brief and artwork files, printing all the products in-house, with our IPAF accredited 2-man team travelling to site to professionally install the branded wallpaper, vinyl graphics, whiteboards, and signage for a seamless end-to-end service.

As well as being visually appealing, the branding also reflected Edwin James’ ongoing commitment to invest in people through learning and development. Because people are at the heart of Edwin James’ business, it was important to create an environment where employees could come together and reconnect in a shared space that reflected the company’s values and aspirations.

With this in mind, the training rooms, break out spaces, classrooms, and individual learning areas were branded with inspirational quotes and positive messaging to ensure staff and trainees felt motivated, valued, and ready to do their best every day.

FWD received many positive comments throughout the project and the client was extremely happy with the end result. Office branding is one of the most impactful and cost-effective ways to engage staff and boost productivity levels.
