Brookfield Primary School Chooses FWD Motion to Uplift Their External Signage

A Fresh Look for Brookfield Primary School

Brookfield Primary School faced the challenge of rejuvenating their appearance to better reflect their values and mission. The goal was to create a welcoming and inspiring space for students, staff, parents, and visitors while promoting sustainability and community pride.

Nicola Walker, Headteacher at Brookfield Primary School, explained: “Brookfield Primary School has been through a really turbulent time, but the staff and governors are determined to improve the school and return it to the heart of the community we serve. Re-establishing our values and the positive impact we plan to make is an important step forward for us.”

In search of a creative, cost-effective, and sustainable external signage solution, Mrs Walker approached FWD Motion. The team at FWD quickly understood the school’s needs and worked within their budget to print a full collection of vibrant and eye-catching large-format signs – then installed them around the school grounds free of charge.

“The installation of the school’s new signage has massively enhanced our identity, promoting a sense of belonging within our wonderful school community,” said Mrs Walker. “We are incredibly pleased with the results and are excited to continue working with FWD Motion alongside their upcycling initiative – seeking to teach our children about the importance of recycling and sustainability.”

Be the Best You Can Be

FWD Motion’s sustainable, UV ink printing technology enables them to print directly to board, eliminating the need for vinyl and laminates. As a result, the di-bond signs printed for Brookfield Primary School are made entirely from eco-friendly, fully recyclable materials. Most importantly, when the school comes to update their signage, FWD Motion can upcycle their existing boards – printing over the old artwork again and again. The process is quick, simple, and doesn’t compromise on quality – ensuring a long and successful lifespan for the school’s striking new signage.

Mark Johnson, Print Manager at FWD Motion, commented: “It was a delight to support Brookfield Primary School, giving a new lease of life to the exterior for both parents and children to engage in at the school gates. With one of the signs now promoting the school’s breakfast club, they can offer more working parents the support they need in the mornings and work towards strengthening relationships within the local community.”

Brookfield Primary School and FWD Motion are keen to continue this exciting collaboration, with plans to extend the new signage to the school’s interior spaces. Their ongoing partnership will further support the school’s mission to provide the best possible start to education for their young pupils, while empowering environmental responsibility and community engagement for everyone.
